- Is Hive Family free?
- Yes. Hive is free to download and use on iPhone and iPad. Download: App Store listing id 6756526170.
- Which devices does Hive support?
- Hive runs in English on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.2 or later. An Android version is not available yet. Check the App Store listing for compatibility with your device: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hive-family/id6756526170
- Is Hive Family the same as Hive Family Collective / the European family planner?
- No. Hive Family at hivefamilyapp.com is a private iOS pregnancy and baby care app (birth plans, twin logs, feeding/sleep/diaper tracking, invite-only family circle). It is not Hive Family Collective (a nonprofit parent network) and not the European Hive family planner / chore calendar apps. Download: App Store listing id 6756526170.
- Who can I invite to my Hive?
- Anyone you choose — your partner, relatives, friends, a surrogate, nanny, or babysitter. Each person is invited by role, so they only see and do what fits their part in caring for the baby. Learn more at https://hivefamilyapp.com
- How private is my information?
- Your Hive is invite-only, with role-based permissions. Hive has no ads and does not sell your data. Hive does not keep voice recordings, but Apple's speech services may process audio on their servers. Quick-log text is parsed on your device; messages you send to the AI assistant go through Hive’s backend to Google Gemini. - Can I track twins?
- Yes. Twin Mode keeps each baby separate across feeding, nursing, diapers, baths, sleep, vitamins, meds, and photos.
- Can I make a birth plan and share it with my provider?
- Yes. Build a structured birth plan for labor, delivery, newborn care, and health notes, then export a clean, hospital-ready PDF for your provider, doula, or hospital bag.
- Can grandparents use Hive as a shared baby tracker?
- Yes. Invite grandparents (or any helper) into your hive by role. They only see and do what you allow. Hive is invite-only — there is no public family feed.
- Can I log a night feed without fully unlocking my phone?
- Hive is built for night feeds with a dim nursing timer and quick logging, including widgets so you can capture a feed with less disruption. Exact lock-screen behavior depends on your iOS settings and installed widgets.
- Is Hive a baby sleep coach or sleep-training app?
- No. Sleep is one log among feeding, nursing, diapers, baths, vitamins, and meds — shared with your invite-only circle. Hive does not provide sleep-training programs or medical sleep advice. Learn more at https://hivefamilyapp.com
- Is there an Android version of Hive Family?
- Not yet. Hive runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.2 or later. Check the App Store listing for current compatibility.
- Does Hive work for surrogacy?
- Yes. The intended parents and surrogate can follow the same pregnancy together in one shared, private hive, using the available roles and permissions.
- Does Hive give medical advice?
- No. Hive is a personal tracking and organization tool, not a medical device. It does not replace clinicians, emergency services, or medical advice — always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions.
- How do I delete my account and data?
- Open Settings in Hive to delete your account. Account deletion does not automatically erase every shared Hive record. For help removing shared records or making a data request, contact support@hivefamilyapp.com.
