1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Hive mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Hive is a pregnancy tracking and family collaboration application that allows users to:

  • Track pregnancy progress and fetal development
  • Share information with family members and support networks ("Hive")
  • Log appointments, symptoms, feeding, sleep, and health information
  • Export data as PDFs for healthcare providers
  • Find nearby healthcare facilities
  • Access AI-powered pregnancy information

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Hive.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
  • You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.

4. Health Information Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Hive is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided in the App is for informational purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or seen in the Hive app.

5. User Content

  • You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through the App ("User Content").
  • By using the App, you grant Hive a license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services.
  • You are solely responsible for your User Content and agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.
  • You agree not to share sensitive medical information inappropriately or with unauthorized parties.

6. Hive Collaboration Features

  • When you create or join a Hive, you are sharing information with other members of that Hive.
  • You are responsible for managing who has access to your Hive through invites.
  • Hive members with appropriate permissions can view and edit shared content.
  • You can leave a Hive or remove members at any time through the App's settings.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use automated systems to access the App without permission
  • Share false or misleading health information

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Hive and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Data Export and Deletion

  • You can export your data as PDFs at any time through the App's export features.
  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App's settings.
  • Upon account deletion, your data will be removed from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Service Availability

We strive to keep the App available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may temporarily suspend the App for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without prior notice.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hive operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
